Where we are
The marina sits on Rice Lake, the wide water the Trent-Severn Waterway opens into below Peterborough. That puts open lake water and sheltered shoreline within the same afternoon, and it is why the fleet is what it is: pontoons for the slow half of the day, a bow rider for the fast half, and a barge for the island cottages that can only be reached from the water. Keene is the village; Peterborough is about twenty-five minutes away; the Kawarthas are all around it.
