Agreement to Terms

By accessing islandview.club or registering as a marina customer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Marina Services

Islandview Harbour provides seasonal boat slip rental, storage, and related marina services at 1087 Islandview Rd, Keene, Ontario, K0L 1B0.

Accounts and Registration

To access certain features, you must register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

Accounts registered via the marina kiosk are initially marked as Unregistered until you verify your email address by signing in at islandview.club. Unregistered accounts have the same access but are pending email verification.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

Payments and Refunds

TODO: Define seasonal fee structure, payment due dates, accepted payment methods, late payment penalties, and the full refund policy including the no-refund clause for account deletion mid-season.

Fees for the current season are due as agreed at time of booking. Deleting your account mid-season releases your assigned slip(s) and refunds will not be provided.

Rental bookings — Pre-Pay or Book

When you reserve a rental online you may either Pre-Pay the full rental amount, or Book by paying a booking deposit now and the remaining balance when you pick up.

Booking deposits are fully refundable up to 72 hours (3 days) before your booking start time. Cancel within that window and we will refund your booking deposit in full, to the original payment method. After that point the booking deposit is non-refundable, as we can no longer offer the dates to anyone else. The booking deposit is applied against your rental total — it is not an extra charge.

Pre-paid rentals are refundable on the same terms and within the same window.

The booking deposit described above is separate from the damage deposit. The damage deposit is never charged at checkout: it is taken as a hold on your card at pickup and released when the equipment is returned in the condition it went out in.

We may cancel a booking for reasons of safety, weather, or equipment failure. If we do, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including the booking deposit, regardless of the window above.

Rules of the Marina

TODO: Insert full marina rules — speed limits, noise policies, waste disposal, fuel handling, guest policies, access hours, liability for damage, etc. These should be drafted with marina management.

All guests and customers are expected to follow safe boating practices and respect the property and other marina users at all times.

Liability

Islandview Harbour provides facilities on an "as is" basis. We are not responsible for loss, damage, or injury to persons or property except where required by law.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or the marina rules, without prior notice and without refund.

Photography on This Site

Photographs of boats, rental equipment, slips, and the marina grounds are photographs of the actual item or place shown. Some have been digitally edited to improve how they look — for example adjusting colour, contrast, saturation, lighting, or background focus. Some of this editing uses AI-assisted tools.

This editing is for visual presentation only. We do not use it to alter the condition, size, features, or equipment of anything we show you, and we do not present an image of one item as another. A boat that appears in a photo is the boat you would be renting or viewing.

Photographs are still a guide rather than a specification. Colours vary between screens, and seasonal wear, equipment, and surroundings change over time. If the exact condition or a specific feature matters to your decision, ask us before you book and we will tell you or send you a current photo.
